Free MLM Leads - Are They Worth It?
People who are into MLM businesses usually go to any lengths to get information about potential prospects, which they term as leads. These leads are usually email addresses of people because the marketing pattern is mostly conducted online nowadays. In days of yore and even today, phone numbers are also significant leads and even MLM businesses use these leads for their cold calling activities. But because cold calling has garnered a lot of flak lately, many MLM leaders are steering clear of phone numbers. Leads in today's world usually refer to email addresses.
Now, there are some services on the Internet that offer to provide free MLM leads. You will find many companies offering to create leads for you either for free (they will be looking at selling some other more profitable service to you to cover for the cost of lead generation) or for a very small sum. Any MLM leader will be quite tempted by such an offer because there is a preconceived notion that leads are all it takes to make an MLM venture a success. And that is the reason most MLM leaders take the bait.
But, are these free MLM leads really worthwhile? Nary a bit! Even if these leads number in thousands, they will probably do zilch for furthering your business prospects.
Why is that so? There is a simple reason for that. To understand that reason, you must understand what targeted leads mean. Targeted leads are leads of those people who have evinced interest in a business opportunity like yours. For example, a person who visits your blog, wishes to know more and gives you your email address voluntarily so that you can send them more information is a targeted lead. Needless to say, such targeted leads are what have a higher probability to convert into business.
This is where the shortcoming of the free MLM lead services lies. These services do not find targeted leads specifically. Their leads are just some randomly generated email addresses that are passed on to you. Now, do you see why this won't help you a bit? Because these emails are just at random, they do not have any interest for your business. You will need to use every trick in the book to pursue them and convince them to join your opportunity. Quite an insurmountable task, that!
If at all you are planning a lead generation campaign for enhancing your MLM network (which you certainly must), make sure you research on the targeted lead generation methods that exist. Take the help of the Internet in your research and you will understand how to go about it.

You Need A Strong Personality To Run A Network Marketing Business!
When you enter into a network marketing opportunity,
you can achieve success only if you are able to enlist as
many people as you can into your network.
Most network marketing businesses allow people to earn
from direct sales, but anyone who has been with these
kinds of ventures for a long time will tell you that the real
money lies in building networks.
For each new member that enters the network, the upline
gets a commission. That is why, as a network marketing
leader, success will come to you only if you are able to
bring more and more people into your downline.
Though network marketing businesses do impart a lot
of counseling and training to people who have newly
joined such opportunities, and though most of this
training is directly about how to bring new people into
the network, nothing will really work if you do not have
the personality and the dynamism to attract new people.
You have to be an inspiration to them – if you are succ-
essful, people will join you. And this success is not
measured just by the amount of money you earn from
the venture; this success is also measured by a
prospective client in terms of how happy you are.
If you can exude this happiness, you will certainly be
attracting a lot more people to join the network.
Another thing that you will absolutely need is con-
fidence. You have to be confident to meet with any-
body, talk with them and convince them that your
marketing opportunity is the greatest.
No amount of training can bring this kind of de-
meanor in you; you have to work for it yourself.
If you take up some kind of personality develop-
ment training, you will understand this better.
You will find how even a seemingly small tip can
go a long way in enhancing your business prospects.
Network marketing is not a smooth profession to be
in. There are a lot of problems that you will face
at the outset.
Getting a respectable number of people in the net-
work is one of the most challenging aspects of
these kinds of ventures.
You will definitely be using a lot of online as well
as offline methods in order to interest them in this
opportunity. But one thing that you will definitely
not be able to do without is your personality.
If you have a happy countenance and that little swag-
ger in your walk, people will understand you are
capable to handle them and will not mind joining
your network if the project is rewarding.
